The Futaleufu base camp trip prices include: Night at a lakeside hotel in Bariloche, Argentina, ground transportation from resort to the river and back to Bariloche Airport, shuttles, meals, guides, instruction and equipment required for the described trip. Earth River transports you from the hotel to the river at the start of the trip and back to Bariloche Airport at the trip’s conclusion.
International air to Buenos Aires, country taxes, taxi between international and national airports in Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires to Bariloche flight, taxi from Bariloche Airport to lake front hotel, trip masseuse, trip DVD and other travel related expenses such as, but not limited to: add. hotel expenses, entry fees, insurance, visas, passports, medical costs, airport taxes or other transportation costs resulting from a deviation from our itinerary are not included. End of trip gratuities to the guides are also not included. If you are delayed for any reason (missed flight) and unable to reach Puerto Montt by the set meeting time when the charter flight leaves, you will be responsible for any extra hotels and meals as well as the commuter flight the following day and ground transportation necessary to catch you up to the trip (an Earth River agent will help you arrange these things). Trip insurance will cover these additional expenses. If there's any chance you may have to cancel your trip it is imperitive that you purchase trip insurance to protect yourself.
To secure trip space, an initial deposit of $600 per person is required. You can make this payment by credit card (Visa or Master Card) or by personable check payable to Earth River Expeditions. If you are paying by credit card please include the credit card information on the reservation form you send in to the Earth River office. This "hidden" link area includes all the general information you need for the trip including a gear and clothing list, inner country flight information and other general trip information. Please use the regular postal service to send the original registration form, medical form, terms and responsibility release and liability release (180 Towpath Road, Accord, New York 12404). We will need these forms back as soon as possible to process your reservation. 90 days prior to the trip’s departure your card will automatically be charged 50% of the remaining balance. The remainder of the balance will be charged to your card 50 days prior to the trip's departure.
If you are paying by personal check, the deposit, registration form, medical form and releases should be signed and filled out and send by regular by mail back to our office (180 Towpath Road, Accord, New York 12404) Once we receive the forms and deposit, you will be sent out an e-mail confirmation with instructions to a hidden area on our web site for people who have signed up for the trip. This link will include all the general information you need for the trip including a gear and clothing list, inner country flight information and other general trip information. 50% of the Balance of the remaining balance must be sent into the Earth River office 90 days prior to the trip's departure. The remaining balance must be sent into the Earth River office within 50 days of the trip's departure.
